i both love and loathe this song. i love it for the way it resonates within my soul, bringing back memories of happy times. and i loathe it because it often brings painful memories back too. i have yet to listen to this song without at least a single tear falling.....

This is my favourite song, I was listening to the songs on 1039/Smoothed out Slappy Hours when I first heard it and I thought it was great. Does anyone know if the version on the Slappy EP is different or not?

No, I think he definetely haven't met 80 yet. I have a Green day concert in 1989 and this song was already there, and he met her in 1991 so...
