It's their 36th track, actually.
There were 27 tracks between their "System Of A Down" and "Toxicity" album. 36 is the 9th track on Steal This Album (their third album), so 27 + 9 = 36.
Guess they couldn't come up with a name for it, so they just gave it the # it was in the order in which they put tracks on albums.
Of course, this excludes their covers of Metro and Snowblind, as they didn't appear on their albums.

SOAD is th best band ever! I love SOAD all the way! Everyone thinks I'm obsessed with them, which I am but anyway ya! I love this song a lot. My favorite part which is my favorite saying out of all thier songs is "Life is so unecessary". ROCK ON SOAD! I wish I could meet the whole band and tell them how much of a fan of them I am. I got all their cds and I am trying to collect everything that has their logo! Ok, thats all.

i find that all SOAD songs mean more than you think. alot of their songs seem to be against commercialism (eg Chic N Stu, 36)

I love system of a down and their my fav band... I have every cd that they made... this song is loud and you cant really understand them but it is still my favorite song... i will dedicate my life to try to meet them... i love them so so much
