To Green Day Rox My Sox (and yes, they DO rock!), Avril originally recorded this song in 2003. And WHY did she sing it, you ask? Umm...because she personally liked it and people really WANTED to hear it done with her voice! LOL! It ended up sounding awesome (even though it's a guy's song, which Avril was actually nervous about). So no, it was not ruined, Effed Up. Of course it's Green Day's song from a few years' back, which sounds awesome as the original. But it was NOT stolen by Avril...it's called a "cover" (obviously this word is new to most of you). She couldn't just sing it and sell copies of it without legal permission! So anyone who says this about her SERIOUSLY is thinking straight. Before Green Day's big comeback, this brought put the spotlight on them again. This song is great and proves just how talented this young woman really is.
