This song proved Avril had some chops, she really handled it well. I always have taken this song to be about a runaway who is hanging around looking for a trick because it's the only way she can think of to get enough money to survive.
The loneliness and jaded, passionlessness of prostitute sex have never been summed up so well in a song, great work Avril.

Avril Lavigne is a great singer and not everyone thinks so, who cares? If Avril got everyone in the world to like her stuff... she'd be beyond genious. I really get annoyed when people judge others by labels. I personally like this song because its something many people can relate to. This other girl gypsy was just talking crap, calling Avril a poser, etc. Guess what... People who are smart don't judge! People who are stereotypical are just shallow. HEY! I think Avril has good songs, I just think her as a person is just not me. Just because I don't like someone as a person doesn't mean they have bad songs, you know?
