Let me get one thing straight. All you Avril haters. You wouldn't like it if we said "oh we think hers/his music sucks" about your favourite band or singer, so leave us alone! You have nothing better to do than moan and complain about other people's favourite singers.
What should happen, is that, this site should have a moderator, so that they could ban the people who really get up people's noses.
Take a look at the Most Haunted forum (www.livingtv.co.uk/forums) They have a moderator, and there is NO trolling (see above about the people who moan and complain) and not even any swearing for God's sake. If there is any, the Mods ban you and you dont have a second chance. That's it.
So all you people who say Avril sucks, then get a life and think again. What would you say if all us Avril fans came to your fav singer's lyrics and posted useless comments like you do? So just go away!

first of all avril is a posuer and loves to contradict herself when ever possible..she had called her self and he music punk, guitar driven rock...so on numerous times..although he music would show she is pop..and thats what people call her and it pisses her off although its true...and punk is a lifetsyle and a type of music..if you are punk you dress to go with the scene..its a way of life not style or trend..as the casualties say "its a fucking way of life!" wich is true..avril can't accept the fact that dressing a certain way does not make you or your music punk...she thinks that by cateragizing her music as rock and punk will some how magically make her music punk it is never going to happen one listen to her 1st or 2cnd cd and you will see it is pure pop with a tinge of rock her an there but it still apeals to buble gum pop lover..the same people who worhsip britney spears and hilary duff..like avril as well..her music plays on the popular radio stations the ones that play rap/pop and had never ever once played on a rock/metal staion...in fact my radio staion i listen to kwhl 106.5 alaska rock they were making fun of her.lol and another thing some one said hilary duffs voice is computerized..so is avrils her voice is horrible with out the help of studio magic..listen to a live concert of her singing..you will be clicking the X in the corner before you know it..in fact there is one live performance on launch.yahoo.com and she really sucked! and of course she wasen't playing guitar becuase she doesn't actually play guitar she can strum a few chords big deal!? she supposily had been playing for years perhaps she should proof it every now and then..she can't even hold a guitar correctly?! its pretty obvious she doesn't know how to play when i play guitar and its pretty easy to tell..yet people who listen to her have no idea she is just another pop singer on the radio to most of her fans..accept the posuers who think she is punk and listen to her and think they are so "PuNk RaWk" i call them brainwashed avril humping whores..any ways its your choice to listen to that shit if you want..but someday everyone will realize she is fake and perhaps the annoying "punk is a trend" will die down and punk can continue in the underground scene where it belongs.

Everyone has their own taste in music and other things. If everyone liked the same thing, then we'd all be a bunch of idoits! You probably don't recall her saying she was punk because at the time being she has changed her mind and is denying she's punk.
She was at one point insisting on many levels that she was as punk as it gets but then she obviously realized that people saw right through her and she started denying that she ever said she was punk. I have heard Avril Lavignes accoustic performances and let me tell you, I don't care for them in the least and even if she can sing Knockin ON Heaven's door live all right I would think that to be a successful musician you would have to be able to sing more than one song live. Don't say that no singer or group stayed around long because it's just not true. Most of the classic rockers are stil around and even if they're one of the ones that aren't recording music anymore people still love them because they have talent. No Doubt has been around ages, as have Our Lady Peace. One thing you'll notice about them all is that they have talent in singing, playing musical instruments and writing which is why they stuck around. However you're right, Avril won't stay for a while and it's because she's a talentless poser, once she's had her 15 minutes of fame, she has nothing else to give and when people will realize how big of a TALENTLESS POSER(theres that phrase again) she is she'll be gone.

aha whatever see just about every loser out there can record an album. Avril had a good guitarist and she got lucky. She managed to convince lil 7th graders that shes punk. See people LIKE to be different and punks are nothin but different so they jumped at the idea of being able to call themselves someone who listens to punk music. That's why Avril's album did so well. She's fake and has no talent. At the end of the day I'd REALLY rather NOT be Avril. She dug herself into a hole that I don't think she'll be able to get out of. Once the world realizes she's a talentless poser she'll have nothing left. I mean she fucking dropped outt a high school...yeah smart move Avril...I'm happier where I'm sitting.
