Ah...........Lovely song!

This was the theme tune to the "Father Ted" TV show. (If you don't know what I'm on about, type in "craggy island examiner" into Google and you'll find out)

This was Neil Hannon's first song written when he was a young man living in a small town in Northern Ireland and sums up his life at that time.

When he teamed up with composer Joby Talbot one of the greatest (in my opinion) songwriting teams of the late 90's was created. Their songs have a simple, melodic feel to them and Mr Hannon is a fantastic wordsmith.

Check out their greatest hits album "A Secret History" to get a good sample of their finest work.
