This song has a great deal of meaning for me. My wife was a big Beatles fan from when she was just a kid. Her favorite album was Rubber Soul and this her favorite song. She died this past January at the much too young age of 56 and I miss her. Needless to say, I play this song often and think of her. We were both fans of John's music and philosophy. We need him now in this world of ours and sadly he can no longer offer us insight into our motives or offer us any alternatives. I was at the vigil for him in Central Park in 1980 shortly after he died. I've lived a very blessed life, and that was the worst I'd ever felt in my life until I lost Sue.

I notice the phonetic sound in his line and how good it flows..."I Know I'll Often Stop And Think About Them." It fits so perfectly into his music and ties the whole thing together. He must have known it too he uses it twice. Totally a unique genius he was.
