Moving right along, what concerns me the most about bands like the pussycat dolls, for lack of a better example. Is the distorted view of women's sexuality and what we fail to acknowledge is that we are more than just physical beings. Sex was designed to be something beautiful, something to be shared and enjoyed between a man and a woman in the sacred context of marriage and one of the most amazing thing, the creation of another life (by the way, babies are awesome). To quote James L. Garlow "Sex is God's idea, and second to salvation, it's the best idea He ever had!" but when our bodies(men and women) are only reduced to play things, not be cherished and respected but cheapened with open displays of sexuality, mocks the God that created us in his own image and how it must please Satan to see his creation reduce themselves to animals. "Be not deceived, God is not mocked, for whatsoever a man sow that he shall also reap. For he that sow to his flesh reaps corruption, but he that sows to the Spirit reap life everlasting" Galatians 6:7-8

Now before you read this next paragraph, I know I am going to get a few objections and some of you may post a comment button with your defense you are entitled to it and I know some of you will jump to the gun by citing the one scripture that everybody knows "Judge not lest ye be judged" Matthew 7:1. Go on to verse 2 which gives a deeper explanation of that verse "For with what judgment, ye judge ye shall be judged it with what measure that ye mete; it shall be measured to you again." There is nothing against discerning right from wrong by God's standards outlined in His word, those two verses are talking about judging by our standards which are biased and take no concern for the person's soul and spiritual condition. To say that one doesn't hold any judgment, or never judges anyone or anything is in denial, life is filled with it whether we are choosing a candidate for president, or who to hang around with at school/work.

You have to think about the byproducts of popular culture, at least now. The dumbing down of our youth and corrosion of our language. Hedonism, materialism, and nihlism being the preferred religions of this age. Violence and gore being the preferred aesthetic. Unfortunately, we have been too desensitized to know it.

the thing that you all need to realise, is that the girls who are singing this song and waving their practically naked bodies in front of the world, are doing it because A. It sells, B. they have pride for their appearance and want to look good and C. because they enjoy it. otherwise, they'd suck.
i dont particularaly like this type of music, i dont like the words, but the tune was good and it can be made fun of in a way that doesnt offend the people who wrote the song.

Someone who's as obviously commercial as PCD wouldn't be shy about at least pretending to be interested in a known name like Bustah just to further their career. It seems to me that including him on their singles is a move to sell more records, and to cover their lack of ability. Also, there have been numerous bands where it came out later that they got a big name to help them out by sleeping with them. If they don't sleep with Bustah, they're doing a good job of making it seem that way.

OK, I read all the posts on this page, and I hae to say that I agree with Bobbybouche. Want proof that PCD are init for the money? They coughed up for Bustah Rhymes to be on their first single, or maybe they're his proteges/bedwenches. As soona s they release a single on their own, it tanks. Adding a rap by an established act to your single to boost sals is not ana rtistic decision, it's a business decision, and one I am sick to death of. It also says to me that PCD are aware they don't ahve the chops to make it on their own, so they bring in ouside talent.
Hiring a guest rapper for the mandatory (c)rap is to me a sign of crass commercialism and being araid you can't stand on your own.
