I agree that some of the things Avril has supposedly "said" seem condradicting, gypsy_rose_lee, but did it EVER occur to ANYONE that the media LIES and embellishes the truth? Why you people follow these rags like a bible I'll never know. When Avril first came out, she was the hot topic in the media, and sometimes they tried to create different images of her. You shouldn't believe everthing you read...it's naive.

hi ppl, basically my opinions are that avril lavigne is great, she is a fantastic performer,seems 2 me that she has a great personality. i have been 2 1 of her concerts in birmingham which was wicked, n i gt her autograph at the end. her music is gr8, n she be's herself and isnt fake. yea evry1s entitled 2 their own opinion,but this site is 4 fans,not ppl 2 cum n slag her off!! shes is KOOL!

Personally i dont like labels eaither, but her music isnt punk...shes just saying she is, i know punk music, if i labeled ppl then i probly wouldnt have that many friends, cuz my friend looks all punk and stuff but shes not she says she not cuz she doesnt lable herself and shes just being herself and she doesnt like it when ppl call her a punk or goth or label her, and then i have other friends who are labeled "preps" by other ppl but personally i only think the one is and the other ones are just called "Preps" cuz they all hang out with her, but htere not, there kool!
