You know ever since this summer that we just had happened I have thought about "getting on the long black train" BUT,.it would hurt others more than I am hurting now so I don't do it. I have faith enough that God will make me stronger and help me through it all(even though it was 11 months ago it's like it just happened yesturday) So whatever you do,..STAY WITH THE LORD,..if I can do it, so can you.

Josh Turner's song "Long Black Train" is certainly a great Gospel Country song, probably the best that I had ever heard. Josh's voice really has a great future, and I'll be looking forward to hear more of this artist's work.

I finally heard this song! It's different from the rest of the country songs I've listened to. I saw the video for it on CMT. Josh this song has been making an impact, GO WITH GOD! not on the long black train...God bless you...awesome song.

I'd just like to say I have never heard this song, but my uncle John has. I've heard so much about it, with the impact it's made with people who has heard it. Especially my uncle John. In 1997, his daughter Andrea was hit by a train in October...she went home with God. It was all in His plan, I was blessed enough to pray with her months prior. I am anxious to hear this song. I sing gospel myself,...Josh, God bless you for the gift God has given you, and for the many lives God touches with it. I'm glad Jesus sets us free out of THE LONG BLACK TRAIN. Praise His Holy name.

Josh,
I just want to say that my son, Nicholas (9 years old) loves this song as well as I. He sings this on the Kareoke machine we have and he is doing well, just working on the tune. I am helping him with that. Again, we love the song and wish you well in the music business. Keep up the great work you are doing.

Hey Josh!
This song is amazing! It has touched my life so much and to many around me. The words are so alive and true in this world and the only way to survive the Long Black Train is to look to the Heavens for the Lord. I'm in the youth group at my small southern Baptist church and when I played this song to them they all loved it and you could tell it made them think. We need more country artist like you around and you have a wonderful gift from God. My friend Dewayne and I are going to sing this song for our special on Sunday morning and I hope it has such an effect on my church as it did in my life. I saw you perform on February 6, 2004 at Billy Bob's and you sound exactly the same in person as you do on the CD. Your a Christian man who doesn't hide your love for the Lord just because your in the country businness. The Lord has blessed you with a wonderful voice and your using it to prasie Him. Your in my prayers

OMG, JOSH TURNER SO HOTT!!! i got his autograph from the Brooks and Dunn Concert in DeKalb, IL. HE IS SO HOTT!!!!! his voice sounds way deeper than it should be tho, cause he looks younger. BUT WHO CARES, HE'S STILL REALLY HOTT!!!!!!!
