I love this song because i lost my grandfather this past Thanksgiving (2007). My grandfather was a very loving,caring,And Honest man. When i was 9 years old my pap and gram adopted me from my birth mother their daughter-in-law don't get me wrong my mother was a great women but she was out of work and had 3 other kids to take care of and their father was not very involved. So i decided to live with my pap and gram so my mom could pay more attention to my 2 sisters and little brother.But my pap made sure i had everything i ever needed so did my gram they were the two most amazing people you could ever know. When he passed it killed me because not only did i lose my grandfather i lost my father and my best friend. My grandmother is still here with me and i love being with her as much as possible because he was her true love her soul mate. I am 25 years old i was 24 when i lost him it has not even been a year sence he passed but it hurts now more then ever because i have not even been able to say goodbye yet. He got to be there for my son for the first 3 years of his life.But he was only here for the first 6 months of my daughters life and she is missing out on knowing the most wonderfull man in the world. god bless you pap we miss you and love you very much......

i love this song, because my grandma passed away and i didn't get a chance to say goodbye, because i was at my surgery my grandpa gave me the gift that my grandma was going to give after my surgery. and when i got out of the surgery my mom told me that she died and i was not happy every single day, because my heart has been token and i didn't want her to die because she helps me study my homework and now im not studying real good, and she is real speciel for me. because she gives me every thing i wanted. she died July 2,2007. this is an update from me. kearston. just recently i found my mom and dads wedding video, and heard my dads voice [that i remember] for the first time. i cryed so hard i made myself sick. it just hurts to see somebody my mom loved not be on this earth anymore. well love ya, its december 19th, 2006 over 14 years after ur death.

My dad died when i was two and a half weeks old. he was 23. that left my mom a widow at age 23. i am 13 and a half now and doing fine. its just so sad reading all these stories and seeing that there are people worse off than me. the other thing that is sad is that he will never walk me down the aisle when i get married. i miss u dearly dad even though i didnt get to see you.

This Song means so much to me cause My grandpa died the day after my 21 first birthday so when a year past that he has been gane I playied this song and it made me believe that grandpa is watching over me today! I miss you very much grandpa I love you!

My friend just told me about this song cause she had it on her name on the internet... so of course i asked. We are all having a difficult time right now and thats why she had it up...our fiend died today and yesterday was her birthday... i mean its so sad... she had 13 birthdays plus a half a day. but we all have to be strong because this song just reminds us of where she is now... she up in heaven... watching through one of those holes... we just all have to remember that. R.I.P LDR WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH... AND WE ALWAYS WILL... WE WONT FORGET YOU!!!

My Grandma died Aug 10 of this year...we were VERY close..out of all of her grandkids she would always say that i was her only one. This song kinda helps me because my grandma was a christian for as long as i can remember, and i know with out a doubt that she is in heaven, and just may be watching over me.

the first time i heard this song was April 11, 1999 the day my grandfather died of cancer i heard this song just moments after i found out i had lost him he was the closet thing i had to a father at the time and he was gone but when i heard the song i relized he hadent lost him totally he was in heaven watching over me for two weeks after his death it rained non-stop and till this day when it rains i know that he is still with me even if i cant see him and i will always have a part of him with me when it rains because of this song i was so very happy when on my older brothers wedding day it started to down pour because i knew out grandfather was there and i knew he loved us both very much still when i here this song i cry alot and ps collin does not sing this song steve wariner does

i love this song. i lost my brother David on September 11, 2001. four days later on the 15th, my baby son Angelus Leo died of pulminary fibrosis. i played this song over and over for days. it kept me sane knowing that my brother and my son were watching over me. i love you David and Angel.

I listen to this song and cry. My friend passed away at 12:13 pm at age 14 of a blood clot in her lungs. I miss her so much. Everytime it rains i go sit outside and just think of all the good times we've had and know that she is watchin over me! i love you kenzie thanks for everyting!

Everytime i hear this song i wanna cry i dedicate this song to my friend Vasiola Papamihal who died at 12:15 am, on January 2 2004, she had just turned 15 and was coming back from a family trip from florida. when a drunk driver going the wrong way on I-75 collided with them. it was horrible to hear the news... its been almost 2 months without you babygurl and its still unreal.. i hope to see you in heaven i love you and miss you. you'll never be forgotten.. thank you for everything you did..

My brother was murdered almost five years ago. I loved this song long before he died. My mother asked me if I wanted to have a song played at his funeral, this song came immediately to my mind. To this day I know my big brother is watching over me and keeps me safe.

This is a wonderful song! My 2 year old daughter passed away on July 7, 2000. Everytime it rains, I think of her & of this song. She was a very special little girl & is very much missed. We love & miss you, Kayleigh Ann!

This is a great some with very meaningful lyrics. My dad passed away in October of 2001, and my best friend died of cancer in July of 2003. This some reminds me of both of these very special people in my life. Please know that I pray for everyone who has ever lost a loved one...my thoughts and prayers are with you.

This song was one of my mother's favorite songs,she past on almost three years ago. Every time I hear it I think of her and cry. It's so beautiful I just want to say to everyone who has lost a parent our grandparent that my prayers are with you and stay strong. The first time I heard it, I cried and felt for the people who died in 9/11, then I felt for my greatgrandparents. I know someday, I will sing this song as everyone who is older dies, and it just tells the inevitable, that people die, and they watch you from heaven, until you get there. Someday....
