Peep-Hole Lyrics
Send "Peep-Hole" Ringtone to your Cell
When your stars are baked,
And your rivers fly,
Do you ever believe you were stuck out in the, Sky,
When your castle breaks,
And your feet are dry,
Do you ever believe you were stuck out in the, Sky,
Do you believe, when you're high,
That your life is tried,
Don't you ever get stuck in the sky,
Don't you ever get stuck in the sky,
Don't ever get stuck in the sky, when you're high,
When your moon is fake,
And your mermaids cry,
Do you ever believe you were stuck out in the, Sky,
When your tunnel fades,
And your guide is shy,
Do you ever believe you were stuck out in the, Sky,
Do you believe, when you're high,
That your life is tried,
Don't you ever get stuck in the sky,
Don't you ever get stuck in the sky,
Don't ever get stuck in the sky, when you're high,
Don't you ever get stuck in the sky,
Don't you ever get stuck in the sky,
Don't ever get stuck in the sky, when you're high~
Don't you ever get stuck in the sky,
Don't you ever get stuck in the sky,
Don't you ever get stuck in the sky,
Don't you ever get stuck in the sky,
Don't you ever get stuck in the sky,
Don't you ever get stuck in the sky,
Don't ever get stuck in the sky, when you're high~

I dont think it's an anti-drug song...more of an anti-addiction song. This song's about weed. Weed is "safer" to use than alcohol and cigarettes...
The reason I believe this is the fact is that the band basically says they're on drugs in many of their songs -or implies it- and this band is too smart to be hypocritical. This is a magnificent piece of work -I love the guitars about 3 minutes in!
This band is revolutionary.

I'm inclined to agree with Sarah. While in passing it may appear to be 'anti-drug', but you'll notice they never say not to visit 'the sky' in the first place, or anything even similar. They only say not to get stuck there. There's also a song they did called 'Drugs' where they avidly proclaim that they're on drugs. This could be passed off as saterical, but on one of their albums, Live in Holland I belive, Serj bridges between songs with an interesting factoid about how the DuPont company and some other corperation lobbied and succeeded in illegalising Marijuana in the 50's.

it is an anti drug song, which progressed to needles in the second albulm, and psycho, so u cant say theyre not anti drugs unless you're just trying to justify it because u do drugs and ur also a big fan of system of a down. their lyrics are so straight forward only a drug addict could say that its not an anti drug song.
thats y i think the lead singer should be president! ALL HAIL SERJ TANKIAN!!!!!!!

It's an anti-drug song, and a good one at that. It's simple, straighfoward, and gets the message across (at least to most people) that you should never overdose, and it's probably better not to do drugs at all. When they're describing the effects, I was pretty convinced that they (or at least one of them) has a drug history, but has gotten over it (or was getting over it at the time).

I love the lyrics but the vocals are what really make this song for me. I dunno what it is about them, I just like them.

Another great song by System. It has great force behind the lyrics with a bass tab that is very unique to the song.
