This song just proves how Metallica can make a song their own. It works really well, and it shows how they can both work with covers and pay tribute to their favourite artists. Take note of Hetfield's comment on the inside page of the album booklet about 'not taking the covers too seriously'. And I agree about a comment before; it was sad to have lost the ending half of the original Black Sabbath version, but the run-in of 'A National Acrobat' was a definite success.

Hey there...ehm, I just noticed the comment about this being an old Black Sabbath song and I couldn't help but laugh. You're absolutely right of course, but I just wanted to point out that the album it's on is Garage Inc. and ALL the songs on that album are covers of other bands. So I was quite amused to see you point out that it wasn't an original Metallica song when none of the songs on that album are originals. Thanks for the laugh. Keep Rockin' Kief
