Why do people have to reduce these boards to just places to argue. If someone like emo music, let em like emo music. If someone likes SoaD (like me :D) let em like SoaD, thats the whole point of music, no-ones right
Anyway, bitching over, this is quite a good song and it is full of metaphors. It is basically about the government seeing themselves as better in every way than the rest of the people.
No, this is, IN MY OPINION, not by any stretch of the imagination SoaDs best song. For that I recomend you listen to their first album (self titled) with songs like spiders, suggestions, soil and P.L.U.C.K. And you can only judge SoaD if you have listened to their earlier and, IMO, much better albums:system of a down (self titled) and toxicity.

well government_dickwad, i seriously cannot agree more with you are far as Joey Jordison goes. HE IS A GOD! A short god but still a god, all the same. Anyway, as for vocalists go, I'd have to say either Amy Lee of Evanesence has the most amazing vocals I've ever heard. Wether you like Evanesence or not, you must admit... not just anybody can belt it quite like her. But then again there is Corey Taylor, who if he doesn't take the cake on being the best goddamn metal vocalist he atleast needs to take the big fuckin' muffin. He also, in my opinion, is the greatest lyricist of all modern rock. But then again, there's Freddy Mercury (R.I.P.) of Queen who has the most amazing voice ever. But then maybe Jim Morrison is the best lyricist. gah... i dunno... i'm tired... good-bye my loves...
