As a submissive I can appreciate what this song is about. Lou Reed and Nico captured everything I could ever hope to capture about the Lifestyle in this song. It's excellent writing, superb sound, and whips you into a trance. A must-listen for any submissive.

This reminds Me of one of My favourite novels by Leopold von Sacher-Masoch. So very intense. It must have meant something to the Velvet Underground as well. If you like the song....read the novel. Even better obtain Coldness and Cruelty by Gilles Deleuze...Venus in Furs is also in that same book and I prefer that translation to the one put out by Penguin books.
