John Mayer has such talent... I would love to see him live. This song is really sad. I could relate to it in many different ways. I cried the first few times I heard it... very nice song and album.

actually i caught the batteries line when i wasn't paying attention it made me look up an go wait a minute lets hear this song again lol its really cool hes so up close and personal! oh and john perk up! need a friend? come to colorado and look me up! :P

Oh, and one more quick comment... At the end of the song, does anyone else hear him say "How come everything I think I need, always comes with batteries? what do you think it means?" That is the greatest line ever!!! And it is like he is talking to you- asking your advice. Listen closely!!!

There is something about this song that just....gets me-puls at me (in a good way) The thing that I like about his music (and especially thins song)is that they are easily relatable. Everyone has that feeling in their life sometimes, when they feel like something's missing-but don't know what or how to "fix it"...great song....

This song is my favorite on the new cd..I have everything I need and want yet i feel as if someting is missing. I think that John's new cd is great! My favorite is the live cd though. But this song really touches me..and most ppl can relate. I just wonder what john was going through? What was he missing?

this is one of the most depressing songs i've heard in a long time..it might be because of his tone, but wow its a beautiful song. his new cd is great :)
