This is my favorite song ever! Whenever I'm stressed, i listen to this song and it puts me in a relaxed, carefee mood. I really wish i could sit on the dock of the bay and do nothing but watch the tides roll, just like Otis! I love the singing and the country-style of this song. Can't forget the whistling!!

This is a phenomenal song to be placed in the archives of all great r&b blues. Otis Reddign takes you to the very dock in which his state of melancholy is settled. Extraordinary song!
