lol THIS IS MY ANTHEM!!!! thank you SO much for making this song i love it this CD is awesome Anything But Ordinary Skater Boy and My World are my songs because im a weirdo...lol i liked a boy who loved skateboarding and all my friends hated him(hes one of my best firends kinda weird..) and well i tend to space off into my own little world her CD is the best i love it and anyone who cant stand this music is stupid.

You can't say that so-and-so is pop, so-and-so is rock, so-and-so is punk...etc. It is in the eye of the beholder...or in this case, the EAR of the beholder. :) To me, Avril IS rock. To you, it may be something different. And that's okay. What matters is that it means something to ME. If her music doesn't do it for other people, I'm sure they will find another artist that will. Music is subjective and not everyone can agree. But that's what makes us, and music, exciting and different! No one person can please everyone, but Avril sure has pleased ME! =D

Avril's totally different from Britney. If you people referring to her new-found blondeness and more femenin clothes, she's just growing up and needed a change. Also, her music doesn't talk about being a "slave" for boys, and she doesn't prance around in a bra in videos. Her songs are so meaningful! She teaches us to respect ourselves, and to not let others run our lives or be manipulated bu guys. Avril hasn't had any quicky weddings or babies, and doesn't walk into bathrooms barefoot. She is doing so much with her career now, including a few movies, and modeling a line of clothes, showing that all girls of all body types are beautiful, and has never made me feel bad about my own.
Oh yeah...just like Britney.
