Just to say that i'm French and I love Family guy, it's a shame we don't have it in France! As Napoleon (I mean Dynamite) would say : DANG IT!
I love Stewie, he is the funniest one.
By the way, i watch it with the subtitles and it's definitely "laugh and cry".
What is "effin", anyway?

OMG are you all nerds or something(people who are totally boring and are arguing)? i mean, WOW BIG DEAL STEWIE SAYS ONE THING OR THE OTHER can we just enjoy the show or do we have to cry about stewie saying something? what a bad life you people must have arguing over something completely irrelevent...
But i have never known anyone to say anything bad about family guy even if they havent seen it.

It does say laugh and cry you can plainly hear him say that and in like every other directors commentary they say that he is saying laugh and cry.

eeeh? i downloaded a bunch off of kazaa... i swear he goes "effin"... but then my sister LOVES the show and said it totally says laughin and on t.v. it totally says laughin but the ones i dl sound like effin... so confoozied. oh well. doesn't matter. we know what stewie's thinking reguardless of what he says. and either way... that show... is the best.

Look here. You all must not be very in tune w/ Family Guy. I have all you need. Copy and Paste the following URL(s) into your browser and see for yourself that you are wrong. And for the record Stewie NEVER has said effin cry, or whatever it is you THINK he's said. AT least this has NEVER been said over the TV series, maybe those of you who have the DVD series, maybe but not on air.

This is by far the funniest animated show of all time...The Simpsons are dope but the raunchiness of the Family Guy puts it in its own category...I was always curious bout the part Stewie says during the opening credits...I think he says effin cry BUT i can see where it can be Laugh and Cry...I guess its up to the listener....
