Hey Cougarpaw from yesteryear - you're wrong! This band was awesome from it's inception, and is still putting out great music! Audioslave has, to a certain extent, saved rock music cuz there's not a lot of it around these days... good kick ass rock music, that is! Cochise, Doesn't Remind Me, and I Am The Highway are three of their most awesome tunes. Rock on!

I think poop1234 is right...Audioslave is great but Rage is still like ten times better at this point anyways...I just think that they should've kept this album a little more secretive than releasing so many goddamn singles and having them played out on the radio like a thousand times a day...it made me actually hate audioslave for a while, until i took a three month break and came back and listened to the album again and realized how good it was...

to "slapthisbass" I do believe this song is about addiction, anyone who has ever been through treatment, or a 12 step group, or in a relationship with an addict will recognize the lyrics for what they mean. I was thinking more along the lines of heroin, than alchohol, but it it all kills just the same.

Sure,Audioslave is awesome, but rage against the machine is still ten times better. I still think rage is a better band and it should be them together instead of this band, but hey what the hell are you gonna do. This is an awesome cd. If you havnt bought it yet, do it.

shit... that aint soundgarden... this is a really good song by audioslave and uhh cougarpaw i dont think these guys in this band need any more money. they both come from pretty popular bands and im sure have "enough" money. i still think soundgarden is 10x better... but that could just be that audioslave is new and has 1 album and soundgarden has like 6... maybe they got a future... who knows

AUDIOSLAVE ARE THE BEST BAND IN THE WORLD!!
And "Cougarpaw" is wrong about them just wanting money. these ppl have real talent and are expressing it in the way the love, music. I'd like to see "Cougarpaw" rite more powerful lyrics then this

Actually it's Audioslave...Chris Cornell used to sing for Sound Garden, but hasn't for quite some time now. Audioslave is Chris Cornell and the former members of Rage Against the Machine (all but Zack of course).

Apparently, this song is a story about an American Indian Chief called "Cochise" who refused to be conquered during... whenever.

These lyrics are just as psychotic as the band. Audioslave just another money grubbing band and nobody will even remember em next year.
