It was actually originally called Shout With the Devil, until like nikkisixxsbabe said all that crazy shit started happening, like knives and forks flying around his house on their own and getting stuck in the walls. This is a great song, well writen, its a classic.

Nikki Sixx was a satanist for a while, and all this wierd shit started happening to him.. He was going to name this album and song Shout To The Devil, but all that devil shit started happening to him and Lita Ford he stopped. So, there ya go! This song kicks major ass!

i don't see how shout at the devil glorifies anything! it seems like just a bunch of gibberish - its not poetry, its just a bunch of words that sound "cool" together and say absolutely nothing about anything.
I was a crue fan, but none of their lyrics can stand any form of analysis. there is absolutely nothing in their lyrics... compare crue lyrics to alice cooper or bowie...

I think that is what almost all the hard rock bands put on their album. I highly doubt that they ever worshipped the devil. This song is one of their best! Tommy Lee kicks ass! Hope to see them all reunite and tour at least one more time.
