In response to darksidechick87... I believe that Vicarious was written as a view of the people and not MJK's himself. Either that or it was written in a sarcastic manner. This CD is ingenious and MJK has always stuck to the same beliefs, he wouldn't stray now.

Maybe this is dumb, but I think it's kind of interesting that this song is on the same album as "Vicarious." A song about how stupid war is and a song about enjoying violence. Shrug Just kind of ironic. I'm sure 20 people will post after this telling me Maynard's ingenious reason for doing this. Anyway, good song :)

i personally like the link between intension and right in two... personally i agree that intension is the song of our violent and oppositional beginning...however i think that right in two is a song about how mankind still hasnt changed since their beginning...our fundamental nature is to fight "life feeds on life feeds on life"

Good song. Works as a second parter to "Intension" Linking the dawn of man, to the dawn of religion. Great song and great duo for Tool.

Lyrics correction: The chorus actually goes - Cutting our love right in two. NOT Cut it all right in two. You have to listen closely to hear it. But this is a pretty awesome song to finish off an amazing record! Can't wait 'till May 2nd. Tool is the best!
