I posted the right lyrics, and they'll be up as soon as Leo checks them. "till the time the killer calls, the one's you hold responsible." That doesn't even make sense. It is "tell the tiny chemicals, the ones you hold responsible" and that was just one of the changes.

The version I have of this song has him singing in a coffee shop and you can hear people continuing their conversations and bussing tables during his set. You can hear glasses clanging together, but he just keeps singing away. I wish it were still the days when you could walk into a coffee shop and John Mayer was sitting there playing music.

My boyfriend left me because he changed as a person. That change didn't include me anymore. So he left. I would love him no matter how much he changed. I guess he just can't return the favor. "Would you want me when I'm not myself? Wait it out while I am someone else?" Yes.

hes right, there is more than one version of this song floating around..but anyways

I always thought the folky kind of music was for played out college kids who knew nothing about music..even as I am in fact a college student myself, I didnt buy into it..until one day my friend sent me some songs because he thought it would help me with what I was going through at the time..namely this song. After that, I was hooked, the man has so much talent that can't be denied. Its funny because he even inspired me to pick up a guitar and learn how to play. When me and my girlfriend broke up for the last time, I wrote this song out and put it in an envelope with all of our pictures that we had together, I guess I wanted her to realize how bad she messed up, and it really helped me..anyways keep rockin Johnny M!

Before you guys get all hostile over the lyrics perhaps you should check to see if you are in the wrong. There are actually 2 versions (or maybe more for all i know) of the song. So these lyrics are actually right for one of the version. Perhaps you have the other version
