i kind of think this song is sort of about the american government also....and their "egos"..... "man made shame"=war....when he says fighting man for land for land...and how love will always exist even if war never goes away..."love will last over all"....."love after it rains"....how we r kind of oblivious to it all "none of us see the fall" and we just dont want to see whats goin on around us...and how these things jus happen...

yeah, these lyrics are REALLY wrong. The song doesn't even start out with the stanza you have here. It starts with the second one you have here... and you have a lot of wrong lyrics... please be dedicated enough to the band to realise these things before you post the lyrics to the song...

Yes Ixsox, there is a song by soad called "Legend of zelda theme"

And Rory, lol they didn't sing the original. They just did a fuck-about version.

It doesn't really sound like the Zelda music anyway. I imagine it is very hard to turn 1-tone nintendo gameboy music into heavy metal with bass and drum-riffs.

It seams to me he's talking about how our lives are nothing but moments... how even if we love someone that feeling will die and so will we and noone wants to accept that mortality... How all we gain in this physical realm will leave us and the futility of greed that many embrace... That he himself has been taught to embrace... The utter finity that defines, drive and horrifies us all at once.
